Ancient Bristlecone, Airglow, and Milky Way
Even at 11,000' in the Patriarch Grove, airglow can still be seen at the lower end of our atmosphere. Our dark skies are really no longer dark due to this phenomenon, but a multitude of stars can still be seen here in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest.
