Lupine in the Morning
The lupine at Lake Forest Beach in Lake Tahoe not only grow in abundance, but are also quite tall. I'm one who really likes to try and get just what I want in my shot and will do my best to position myself to do just that. In this case, I couldn't pass up the fog developing on the lake, but the problem was at 5'4", most of the lupine bushes were taller than me. Luckily there is a trail here on a bit of a berm which put me just high enough to capture the expansive field with all the elements I wanted in the background. Bonus for me was the lovely sunrise and warm weather to compliment a very pleasant morning wandering among the wildflowers.
