Repeating History
It's one of the things I really like about the architecture at Ft. Point in San Francisco. There are so many great repeating patterns in columns and archways. At just the right time of day in this corner of the fort, the light play makes it look almost like a cathedral rather than a military installation. If historical architecture is your thing, I highly recommend a visit.
