Unearthly Sand Castles

My photography really is more for me than anything else and why I go exploring for the different or unusual. I realize this type of image isn't something most people would purchase to hang on their living room wall, but I do so enjoy finding such unearthly looking environments. Stopping here for sunset on the way home from my vacation was one of those lucky decisions. The moody monsoon storm was just wicked enough to help me capture the eerieness of these strange and delicate tufa sand castles in the desert.
