Sweeping Sunset
I was scouting around Lake Tahoe and ended up here just before the sun went down. A couple were there enjoying the evening, but they left only a moment later. Just me and the dogs...and then the sky blew up!
When I saw the clouds begin streaking like this it stopped me in my tracks. It was like the jet stream suddenly broke loose over the Sierra. I yelled to the dogs, "Are you seeing this??? Are you freakin' kidding me???" They wagged their tails and nuzzled my hands wondering what I wanted from them. It was a beautiful way to end the last warm days of summer.
