Black and White
Monsoon Light
I went to the rim for sunrise, but it was a flat gray and the sun just wouldn't come through. So the dogs and I took a walk to scout around and see what else we could find. When I turned around to head back to camp for breakfast, I saw these sun beams streaming from the clouds. It was my last chance to shoot this place before leaving so I went back to the rim for one last shot. The canyon was still flat and devoid of contrast, but I thought the beams added enough interest to make it worthwhile.
